Dearest friends & colleagues,
With great sadness, we advise you on the passing of James A. Newlin Jr., known to many as JR. Jim passed away peacefully at home Feb. 27th, 2009. He was 58 years old. As many of you know, Jim was diagnosed this past spring with an aggressive form of lung/liver cancer. He fought the good fight, but the cancer simply overtook his efforts.

He is survived by his wife Barbra, two sons Christopher and Jason, his mother Coletta, and two sisters Cathy and Judy. Ownership of the company remains in the hands of the Newlin family, and is where it will stay.

Jim never met a stranger, and could have a conversation with anyone he met. He was without a doubt, the most honest man I have ever known, was an excellent businessman, and a genuine good guy. He will obviously be missed by anyone who knew him.
