Our children are America’s future, and as such, early childhood education is one of the most important investments our country can make. Research shows that the quality of the early childhood education children receive has a direct effect on positive child development. The HighScope Perry Preschool Study found that people who were enrolled in a high-quality preschool program – whether home-based or center-based – ultimately earned more per month and committed fewer crimes than those who were not. Young people who were in preschool programs are more likely to graduate from high school, hold a job, own homes, and have longer marriages.

The Abecedarian Project found similar results, stating that “The young adult findings demonstrate that important, long-lasting benefits were associated with the early childhood program.” Children in high-quality preschool programs are less likely to need special education, repeat grades, be on welfare, or commit crime. Children with disabilities and special needs, at-risk children, and those who are from lower socioeconomic status’ have the greatest positive effect from early childhood education.

With parents as the child’s first teachers, and others who help provide effective early educational experiences, prekindergarten adventures have a positive effect on academic achievement, social adjustment, and long-term success. Early childhood education has been proven to enhance school performance, raise math and language abilities, improve peer interaction, reduce special education placement, adjustment to the demands of formal schooling, lower school drop-out rates, sharpen thinking and attention skills, increase lifelong earning potential, and lowers the rate of teen pregnancy.

Far too many children enter school unprepared. This leads to children falling further and further behind. All children need to enter Kindergarten and grade school ready and able to succeed. Culver-Newlin is dedicated to enhancing education at all levels. Our extensive line of preschool furniture is designed to assist teachers, and to create fun, educational adventures for America’s future teachers, preachers, parents, and employees and employers of every sort. Millions of Americans work in an office, spending hours each day in an uncomfortable desk chair.  Not only is it uncomfortable, it can literally be a pain in the neck, and the wrists, back, hips, and more.  The wrong office furniture can cause physical discomfort, and negatively affect productivity.  If your office personnel are always seeking a comfortable position to work in, ergonomic furniture might be in your future.

    Ergonomic desk chairs

Specially designed to provide comfort and relieve symptoms of stress on the back, hips, and legs, ergonomic office chairs fit your staff properly and offer several unique advantages.

    • Reduces fatigue
    • Relieves muscle strain
