Building a Culture of Care Through Peer-To-Peer Counseling
Mission Hills High School launched a peer-to-peer counseling program and on-campus Wellness Center this year, giving students a safe space to connect and support one another. Backed by a $1.5 million state grant, the school is one of just eight statewide selected for a youth-driven mental health pilot. Designed and led by students, the program is already helping build a more connected, supportive campus culture.
